Today I couldn't sleep.
Feeling restless for weeks.
Spend my nights watching time.
As every thought crosses my mind.
Well you noticed.
That I needed some help.
And you gave me what I wanted.
But you were too late.
Just let my head take a rest.
There's nothing wrong, I could of guessed.
Sit in darkness, waiting to close my eyes.
The moon is glowing, a haze it fills the skies.
Well you noticed.
That I needed some help.
And you gave me what I wanted.
But you were too late.
The sun is up it's time to try.
It never works, I don't know why.
The quiet bird song, sings me a lullaby.
It's almost silent, leave me where I lie.
Well you noticed.
That I needed some help.
And you gave me what I wanted.
But you were too late.
This is one of the greatest garage rock albums I've heard. It feels nostalgic while still feeling like something brand new. Clever lyrics, wholesome guitars, lots of angst. It'll stay in your head. Rory Mackenzie
